You can view the map at http://goo.gl/BIl4H and the club’s website at http://goo.gl/JNgLH. The sixth grade humanities department would like to congratulate the founding members of the Deal TAGS DC club for their commitment to the project throughout the entire school year: Carl Morison, Ernesto Fritts, Lauryn Donahue, Fiona Lynch, Shiva Steele, Isaac Boris, Sierra Lewter, and Ricardo Lindo. Keep exploring!

The 6th Grade Humanities Department — Ms. Kinzer, Ms. Campozano, and Mr. Martini,
(For more information about the club, contact Mr. Martini at michael.martini@dc.gov)

Thirteen Chinese-language students from Alice Deal Middle School, a Washington DC-based school with a good reputation, participated in a school trip to China from April 1-9. The trip was the first to China organized by the school. By visiting places of interest in Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai, the students fulfilled their dream of seeing the country that has long been of interest to them.

Alice Deal Middle School was founded in 1922. In recent years, it has been an international baccalaureate school. The school, which has only grades 6 -8, ha s approximately 1,000 students. About seven years ago, the school made the study of a second language — either Spanish or French — compulsory… >> read more
