US School Students Put Language Learning to Use in China
Thirteen Chinese-language students from Alice Deal Middle School, a Washington DC-based school with a good reputation, participated in a school trip to China from April 1-9. The trip was the first to China organized by the school. By visiting places of interest in Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai, the students fulfilled their dream of seeing the country that has long been of interest to them.
Alice Deal Middle School was founded in 1922. In recent years, it has been an international baccalaureate school. The school, which has only grades 6 -8, ha s approximately 1,000 students.
